Weekly Notes May 21, 2018

The school will attend an end of the year mass on Wednesday morning starting at 7:40 a.m. All are invited to attend. Students may wear regular uniforms. Immediately following mass, we will proceed to the Community Center for the Awards Program. Parents are free to take their child home after the program.

Please remember that buses will run Tuesday morning but leave at 10:45 a.m. Exams will be completed by that time. Your child does not have to leave at that time but you would then be responsible for picking him/her up upon dismissal at 2:05 p.m. There is no after-care.

On Wednesday, buses will run only in the morning. There is no bus service for dismissal. Students who stay the entire day are to be picked up at 2:05 p.m. The cafeteria will be open. There is no after-care.

There is no bus service Thursday and Friday. Students will not be marked absent if they do not attend school. Both of these days are regular, full days. The cafeteria will be open. There is no after-care.

The 8th grade closing ceremony begins at 7:00 a.m. Tuesday night in the church. All are invited to attend to celebrate these wonderful students.

The doors to the main school building have been repaired. Broken glass has been replaced. The doors now open and close much easier and lock securely.

Registration is still open for our Cubs Camp this summer. If you would to register or find out more information, please contact the office. It will be nice to have students on campus during the summer.

As we travel through this last week of school, I would like to take this opportunity to thank every one of you for entrusting us with your child not only academically, physically and especially spiritually. It is a joy to work with them from the youngest to the oldest. You make great sacrifices to send your child to St. Elizabeth. Thank you for making that choice.

I wish you a most enjoyable summer. It has been my pleasure to serve as principal this year and look forward to seeing you again in August. During the time off, if you have questions or concerns please do hesitate to email me or come in.

Let us end as we begin:

God of Wisdom, we thank you for all the gifts you have given us throughout this school year. We praise you for giving us life, for saving us in Christ, and for choosing us to be your people. As welcome to the end of this school year, we voice our gratitude for the good things you have done in us, and we praise you for all who have shared in the work of this school. We ask you to bless them in your love and give them refreshment and peace. We praise you, God, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns forever and ever. Amen.
