Listed below is the criteria for a Distinguished Graduate Nominee. If you know of someone you wish to nominate kindly complete the information below and return it to the school no later than this Friday, November 10.

1.  A Distinguished Graduate must have graduated from high school.

2. A Distinguished Graduate must be a role model for our students and the community.

3. A Distinguished Graduate must have made some significant contribution to the Church, school and/or community.

4. The Distinguished Graduate must be present at the dinner on January 29, 2018.

Friday is our annual Veteran’s day mass and assembly. The students are working hard to prepare for this special day. My father was a proud WWII veteran. The service these men and women have given and many still continue to give to our country in ways that is beyond measure. I am looking forward to this event and seeing all of you.

Thank you to all of you who attended parent-teacher conferences last week. We were happy to see you! We will be evaluating how conferences went and see how we will proceed in the future.

Tonight is our meeting with the Director of Special Education for the Diocese. Ms. Bethany Robicheaux will be on hand to discuss this program which St. Elizabeth is happy to be able to house beginning next school year. We will start at 7:00 pm in the Community Center.

The last day to donate for the Primary School Community Service project is this Friday. Grades PreK-2 are accepting monetary donations in order to purchase school supplies for two schools they have adopted in Texas who were hard hit by the hurricane. Any amount would be appreciated.



Christmas Nativity- As in the past, we are asking for names to be submitted for babies born after October 1, 2017 to be Jesus in the Christmas Nativity on December 22. Siblings of current SES students will have preference.  Please contact the school office if you would like to submit your child's name.

5th Grade Basketball Practice- Wednesday, November 8- 2:00-4:30 

6th Grade Basketball Practice- Wednesday, November 8 -4:30-6:00

Spirit Dress Down Day- Wednesday, November 8.  Students may wear spirit shirts with jeans or uniform bottoms and school shoes.  Please see the SES Handbook for complete dress down day guidelines.

Home & School Meeting- Thursday, November 9 at 6:30 pm

World's Finest Chocolate- Money is due Friday, November 10

Veterans Day Mass- Friday, November 10 at 7:40 am 

6th Grade Basketball Practice- Monday, November 13-4:15-6:00

Dress Down to Make a Difference- November 15-Students who make a $2 minimum donation may wear any shirts and shoes with jeans.  All dress down day guidelines in the SES handbook must be followed.  All proceeds will be donated to the St. Elizabeth Church Food Pantry to purchase turkeys for families in need this holiday season. 

Progress Reports- issued November 15.  Please sign and return the following day. 

Grandparents Day-  Friday, November 17.  Mass at 8:00 am followed by Grandparents Reception in the Community Center. 

No afternoon bus service- Friday, November 17.  Aftercare will be available. 

Thanksgiving Holidays- November 20-November 24

Breakfast with Santa Raffle- tickets are due Tuesday, November 28.

Science & Social Studies Fair- Wednesday, December 6.
