Weekly Notes November 13, 2017

A letter was sent to all 3-4-5 grade parents yesterday in regards to the resignation of Miss Kay Eads. The resignation was submitted this past Friday, effective immediately. We are blessed to now have Ms. Allison Viator as the long-term substitute until the Christmas holidays. We have begun advertising for this position. If you know of anyone who may be interested please have them submit a Letter of Interest and Resume to me at kherpich@sescubs.com No phone class please.

I am looking forward to my first Grandparents day at SES! There is definitely an air of excitement this week. Students stop and tell me their grandma and grandpa are coming. Along with that is the anticipation of the Thanksgiving school lunch and holiday. It is a busy week!

Thank you to everyone who has donated to our food drive. There is still time if you wish to drop off a donation. Remember that tomorrow is a dress down day that will also go towards the food pantry. It is a $2.00 donation.

Cafeteria renovation update:

Four trees have been removed from the back of the building. There is a meeting scheduled to talk with a flashing subcontractor.

The windows were measured today. During the Thanksgiving break they will be replaced.

If you would able to help with the reinforcing of the roof structure please let me know. This will happen over Thanksgiving.

And as always, any donations to this and any other project here at school is gladly accepted.

On behalf of Fr. Matthew and the faculty and staff of St. Elizabeth, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a most blessed Thanksgiving. I know I have much to be thankful for this year. I am blessed with a new position and home. My sister and her family are traveling here to spend the week with me. I wish you and your family a most blessed Thanksgiving.
